Hey guys, it’s, mama bear here with saturn living garden, and today i have a special treat. I have more of the cannava that’s, ripened, actually, two of them right up here and this one is super, duper ready.
It’s, nice and soft. I have never tried this big before so i’m, very excited to try it right now. So this big i got lush chair and i had no fruit from it and it grew quite nicely for me. This is what the leaves look like um.
It has about three figs on each top of the branch couple here there’s some here and it’s got quite a few branches, so it’s. Doing great – and i’m – just really really excited to try it. So let’s grab it.
This is supposed to be a really good thing for my climate, and i can’t get it out there. It is. I’m in a coastal south carolina. It’s very humid and wet in here. It did crack here, but it’s, probably from too much nitrogen.
I’ve, been trying to feed my figs really well. This year, but it’s, really soft. I think it’s beautiful, let’s, try it so we’re. Looking at 14 grams. Here it’s a little on the smaller side. It’s supposed to be similar to the let the bordeaux, so we’ll, see.
Let me go ahead and use two hands to cut it. This is what it looks like and it looks um dark kind of brown red on the outside and it’s got um, not red, but more of an amber dark, amber color inside all right, let’s.
Try it! Okay, keep in mind. It is the fig first fig of the stream um. So i don’t know what it’s gonna taste like down the road, but it is very sweet and uh. It has a lovely figgy flavor. So for right now i taste um a little crunch in it a little seed crunch and definitely the figgy flavor and definitely nice and sweet it’s very pleasant.
It’s a little smaller in size, and we’ll, see how the rest of the figs grow on that tree. I will keep you updated how the taste profile changes on this one thanks for watching you guys, as always hit like subscribe.
